From It's Prologue last year, we have expanded the Festival with lots of Community and Music events, so as to appeal to all.
Cycling events start on Friday, with rides available from Off the Rails
Main Square music starts at 6pm Friday, and goes on until Sunday Evening - full programme here - www.settlefestival.co.uk
A Trail quest and Treasure Hunt, and Fun cycling activities take place all weekend.

On Saturday morning there is a 10 mile family bike ride. You are invited to enter, to ride with fellow cyclists, keep fit,
and to raise money for charity.

The ride will start at 11am from the market square; you will be accompanied by experienced cyclists.
2 pm – BRITISH CYCLING organised events for school pupils.

Obstacle Course
This activity involves a variety of obstacles which test the rider’s bike handling skills and include some of the following
Straight Line Cycling, Limbo, Slalom, Bottle Pickup
Dismount and Mount, Small Ramp, Track Stand (stop box)
Small Races
These are simple races that mirror some of the events seen at the Olympics such as the Keirin and the Team Pursuit.
Other races will include a variety of short relays with different tasks to complete.

It is the toughest and biggest Cyclo-Cross event in the UK.
Start & Finish at Helwith Bridge – 9.45am – 2pm
